Volunteer your time! Whether at football games, competitions, or with odd jobs that need to be completed, we can never have enough help. You must have clearances on file with the school district, but these are FREE and easy to obtain. Follow directions here to obtain and submit your clearances. Volunteer opportunities can be viewed on our SignUpGenius.

Attend booster meetings! You can serve as an executive board member, committee chair, or just be a general member. Many hands make light work. The Boosters calendar can be found here (also available in iCal format here so you can sync it to your own calendar!) Even if you do not have time to fill a board position, attending the meetings is a great way to meet other band parents and keep current on the activities that are happening.

Did you know that we partner with Giant and Karns to help you raise money for your child's trips? Gift cards for both can be purchased in $50 or $100 increments, and for each $100 purchased, your child earns $5 in credits for their trip account, while you still get the full value of the gift card! Who Are the Band Boosters and What Do They Do?
Who Are the Band Boosters and What Do They Do?
Our booster organization is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that supports our band program from 6th-12th grade. If you are the parent of a band student in those grades, you are automatically a member. The boosters support all band programs, including marching band, concert band, jazz band, and indoor color guard. They coordinate and promote multiple fundraising efforts throughout the year, such as restaurant nights, merchandise sales, Jazz Fest and many more. They provide volunteer assistance for equipment movement, chaperoning, and fundraiser staffing. They hold 4 to 5 general membership meetings each year, with the executive board and various committees meeting more frequently to keep things running smoothly.
